The is a regional railway line in Saga Prefecture, Japan, owned and operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu). It connects in Saga City to in Karatsu City, both in Saga Prefecture, Japan. The line was originally constructed to carry coal from the Karatsu coal fields to the Port of Karatsu for export and had many branch lines to coal mines which have since closed. Operation All trains running on the Karatsu Line stop at all stations along the line, including through services from both sections of the Chikuhi Line. All trains that run to/from Kubota Station use the Nagasaki Main Line to terminate at Saga Station instead. Regional rail, also known as local trains and stopping trains, are passenger rail services that operate between towns and cities. is a city located in Saga Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, Japan. The city was founded on May 1, 1954 through the merger of several towns and villages. The is a DC electric multiple unit (EMU) commuter train type operated by Kyushu Railway Company (JR Kyushu) on Chikuhi Line and Fukuoka Subway Kuko Line through-running services in Kyushu, Japan, since 22 January 2000. Kūkō Line (Fukuoka City Subway)
The is a subway line, part of the Fukuoka City Subway system in Fukuoka, Japan. It connects Meinohama, Nishi Ward to Fukuokakūkō (Fukuoka Airport), Hakata Ward, all within Fukuoka. Taku Station
is a railway station on the Karatsu Line operated by JR Kyushu located in Taku, Saga Prefecture, Japan. Lines The station is served by the Karatsu Line and is located 15.2 km from the starting point of the line at . Station layout The station consists of an island platform serving two tracks. The station building is a hashigami structure where the passenger facilities are placed on a bridge which spans the tracks. Besides giving access to the island platform, the second level of the bridge houses a waiting area and a ticket window. The bridge is also used as a free access for pedestrians to cross from the north side to the south side of the station. Next to the station are community facilities and shops. Ogi, Saga
is a city located in the central part of Saga Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, Japan. As of February 28, 2017, the city has an estimated population of 45,638 and a population density of 480 persons per km². The total area is 95.85 km². The modern city of Ogi was established on March 3, 2005, from the merger of the former town of Ogi, absorbing the towns of Ashikari, Mikatsuki and Ushizu (all from Ogi District).
