Yasmeen Lari
Yasmeen Lari (born 1941; ur, ) is Pakistan's first female architect. She is best known for her involvement in the intersection of architecture and social justice. Since her official retirement from architectural practice in 2000, her UN-recognized NGO Heritage Foundation Pakistan has been taking on humanitarian relief work and historical conservation projects in rural villages all around Pakistan. Mass is an intrinsic property of a body. It was traditionally believed to be related to the quantity of matter in a physical body, until the discovery of the atom and particle physics. The Lahore Press Club ( ur, لاہور پریس کلب) is an association of primarily news journalists, and also includes academics, business people and members of the public service sector in Lahore, Pakistan. It is the biggest press club in the country, with a membership of 3250, and is well known for its gatherings with invited speakers from public life. Veteran journalist Raja Aurangzeb played a major role in convincing Punjab former chief minister late Ghulam Haider Wyne to allot land for the Lahore Press Club at Shimla Pahari. The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) is a trade union federation of journalists in Pakistan. PFUJ is affiliated with the International Federation of Journalists. Sabeen Mahmud
Sabeen Mahmud (20 June 1974 – 24 April 2015) ( ur, ) was a progressive Pakistani human rights activist and social worker who founded the Karachi-based cafe '' The Second Floor''. She also presided over the Karachi branch of TiE. Born and raised in Karachi, Mahmud was educated at Karachi Grammar and later at the Kinnaird College. She later founded an interactive media and technology consulting firm and worked to establish the Citizens Archive of Pakistan.
