Kara Ro
Kara Olivia Rheault (born November 9, 1975), best known as Kara Ro, is a Canadian boxing and MMA trainer, and a retired boxer. She held the Women's International Boxing Association lightweight title in 2005. Early life Ro has enjoyed an extensive career as an athlete and as a professional trainer. As early as the first grade, she received awards for her athleticism. In high school, while maintaining academic excellence, Ro excelled in athletics. She was a member of eight high school teams including basketball, volleyball, co-ed volleyball, track and field, tennis, badminton, swimming, and baseball. Ro was awarded M.V.P. in basketball, volleyball, co-ed volleyball, and track and field and was the city champion in tennis and triple jump. Ro was the youngest player elected to the city's All-Star basketball team and won numerous awards as a tournament All-Star in volleyball. Sudbury, officially the City of Greater Sudbury is the largest city in Northern Ontario by population, with a population of 166,004 at the 2021 Canadian Census. Belinda Laracuente
Belinda Laracuente (born 1980) is a women's boxing competitor from Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, where she lived from 1989 to 1998. Her nickname is ''Brown Sugar''. Laracuente debuted as a professional boxer on 12 February 1997 in a match against Karen Nye, which Laracuente won. On 10 October 1999 she reached a draw in four rounds with Jeanne Martinez. After winning her next fight, she went to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, where she got arrested the night before the fight for underage gambling. Orthodox Stance
In combat sports such as boxing, an orthodox stance is one in which the boxer places their left foot farther in front of the right foot, thus having their weaker side closer to the opponent. Because it favors the stronger, dominant side (often the right side; see laterality), the orthodox stance is the most common stance in boxing and MMA. It is mostly used by right-handed boxers.
