Kao Nekad Pred Božić
Kao nekad pred Božić (English: As it used to be before Christmas) is an annual one-day christmas music festival held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was established in 1999 as a joint venture by Croatian and Catholic cultural and religious organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The founder of this festival is Marijo Pejic. The festival is held in the Dom Mladih. It hosts numerous renowned church choirs, folklore groups and contemporary pop musicians. Guests and performers have included Goran Karan, Oliver Dragojević, Dražen Žerić, Klapa s Mora, Rajko Dujmić and others. Oliver Dragojević
Oliver Dragojević (; 7 December 1947 – 29 July 2018) was a Croatian singer and composer, who was considered one of the most enduring musical stars and cultural icons in Croatia with a discography that spanned nearly five decades. His style blended traditional klapa melodies of Dalmatia, a coastal region in his native Croatia, with jazz motifs wrapped up in a modern production. For his influential musical career, he reached critical and commercial acclaim in Croatia and neighbouring countries, and numerous accolades, including numerous Porin and Indexi awards. Kolo (dance)
Kolo ( sr-Cyrl, Коло) is a UNESCO List of Intagible Cultural Heritage inscribed South Slavic circle dance, found under this name in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia. History According to Wilkes (1995), the kolo has an Illyrian origin as the dance seems to resemble dances depicted on funeral monuments of the Roman era. Description The circle dance is usually performed amongst groups of at least three people and up to several dozen people. Dancers hold each other's hands or each other's waists. They form a circle, a single chain or multiple parallel lines. Kolo requires almost no movement above the waist. The basic steps are easy to learn. Experienced dancers demonstrate virtuosity by adding different ornamental elements, such as syncopated steps. Each region has at least one unique kolo. Rajko Dujmić
Rajko Dujmić (7 August 1954 – 4 August 2020) was a Croatian songwriter, composer and music producer best known as a member of the pop group Novi fosili. He composed the winner entry of Eurovision Song Contest 1989, " Rock me", along with Stevo Cvikić. They also composed the two previous Yugoslavian entries, "Ja sam za ples", sung by Novi fosili, and "Mangup", sung by Srebrna Krila. Klapa s Mora was a music ensemble that represented Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö with the song "Mižerja". Dražen Žerić
Dražen "Žera" Žerić (born 20 July 1964) is a Bosnian singer and one of the founders and lead vocalist of famous Bosnian band, Crvena Jabuka (Red Apple). Noted for his spiky hair and a distinctive voice, he remains one of the most recognizable vocals of the entire area of Former Yugoslavia. Goran Karan
Goran Karan (born 2 April 1964) is a Croatian vocalist. He specializes in songs influenced by Dalmatian folk music and is known for his powerful and refined tenor voice. Karan's collaboration with composer Zdenko Runjić led to some of his most acclaimed work, which won him several awards. Biography Karan was the lead singer of Croatian rock group Big Blue, before becoming a solo artist in 1997. In 2000 he represented Croatia at Eurovision Song Contest, after winning the Croatian pre-selection Dora.
