''Kany Garcia'' is the third studio album of Latin Grammy winner, singer-songwriter Kany García. It was released on August 14, 2013 and produced by Kany García, Julio Reyes Copello and Paul Forat Sony BMG. The album's first single " Que Te Vaya Mal" was nominated for Record of the Year at the 2012 Latin Grammy Awards. The album was nominated for "Best Latin Pop Album" at the 2013 Grammy Awards. Album information The album was recorded in Bogotá, Colombia. The live version of the album, which was recorded for a mini-movie/live concert type available as part of the CD/DVD set or iTunes digital format was recorded in the Pontificia Javeriana University in Bogotá. Kany García
Encarnita "Kany" García de Jesús (born September 25, 1982) is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, García first appeared on television in 2004 as a contestant on ''Objetivo Fama''. She is widely considered the most successful non-winner in the history of the show. In 2006, García signed a recording contract with Sony BMG, releasing her debut album ''Cualquier Día'' (2007), which was a commercial success, spawning four top 40 singles on the ''Billboard'' Latin Tracks. She has won six Latin Grammy Awards out of twenty nominations and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards. Biography García was born in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico to Antonio García and Shela De Jesús. Latin Grammy Awards Of 2012
The 13th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the fifth time the awards was held at this venue and in Las Vegas. It also marks the last year in the Latin Recording Academy's contract where the Mandalay Bay Events Center hosted. It is unknown if the awards will continue to be held at this location beyond 2012. Recordings must have been released between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012 in order to be eligible for the 13th Latin Grammy Awards. Nominations were announced on September 25, 2012. Juan Luis Guerra led the nominations field with six; Jesse & Joy earned five nods; Ricardo Arjona, Edgar Barrera, Juanes, Carla Morrison, Arturo Sandoval, Ivete Sangalo, and Caetano Veloso each received four nominations. The ''Boleto De Entrada Tour'' was a concert tour by Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Kany García in support of her second studio album of the same name, presented by the "Oficina de la Procuradora de las Mujeres de Puerto Rico".
