Kannan (music Director)
Kannan is an Indian film music composer who worked in the Tamil film industry. He debuted in 2010 with ''Thamizh Padam''. Career Kannan studied at Music College before beginning his career as a guitarist in 1988. Over the course of a decade, he composed jingles for about 600 commercials through the agency of C. S. Amudhan. The same agency provided the opportunity for Kannan to compose music for his film score debut ''Thamizh Padam ''Thamizh Padam'' () is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language parody film written and directed by C. C. S. Amudhan (born 19 July 1977) is an Indian filmmaker and lyricist from the Tamil film industry. Career Amudhan made his cinematic debut as a lyricist with ''Minnale'' (2001), where he wrote the song "Maddy Maddy". He made his directorial debut with ''Thamizh Padam'', the first full-length spoof film on Tamil cinema, with Shiva playing the lead role. The film, distributed by Dayanidhi Azhagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, released on 29 January 2010 and won critical acclaim and commercial success at the box office, earning cult status.
