Kalle Spjuth
Kalle Spjuth (born 27 May 1984) is a retired Swedish bandy player who played as a forward. Kalle is the younger brother of Slottsbrons IF player Per Spjuth and IK Tellus player Ola Spjuth. Kalle signed for Russian team Uralsky Trubnik after 2007. After Uralskys financial problems in winter of 2008, he together with team fellow, Robin Sundin and Jesper Ericsson, returned to former club Hammarby. He was mostly injured during the 2010 campaign when Hammarby got their first gold medal ever. He then signed for IK Sirius from the city of Uppsala, but returned to Hammarby in 2012. Oxelösunds IK
Oxelösunds IK is a Swedish association football club located in Oxelösund in Södermanland County. Background Oxelösunds Idrottsklubb is a Swedish sports club founded on 10 January 1984 following the merger of IFK Oxelösund and Oxelösunds SK. The club competes in football. The bandy section was cancelled due to the city deciding to build a new football field instead of repairing the broken bandy field. Bandy was previously the city's most successful sport, the team played in Division 2. Kalle Spjuth now of Hammarby IF and Markus Hillukkala of Bollnäs GIF are two of their most famous past players, they were both youth products of the club. Since their foundation Oxelösunds IK has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. Bandy is a winter sport and ball sport played by two teams wearing ice skates on a large ice surface (either indoors or outdoors) while using sticks to direct a ball into the opposing team's goal. The international governing body for bandy is the Federation of International Bandy (FIB). The playing surface, called a bandy field or bandy rink, is a sheet of ice which measures 90–110 meters by 45–65 meters – about the size of a football pitch. The field is considerably larger than the ice rinks commonly used for ice hockey, rink bandy, or figure skating. IK Sirius is a Swedish bandy club located in Uppsala, currently playing in Elitserien. IK Sirius were formed in 1907 and play their home games at Studenternas Idrottsplats. History The sports club that became IK Sirius was founded on 9 August 1907, and got its current name on 5 April 1908 after having been discussing Svartbäckens IK and IK Spurt. At the time, several sports club existed in the city of Uppsala: IFK Uppsala, IF Thor, IF Heimdal, and Upsala IF. The sports club was founded for athletics, and took up bandy in 1908.
