Smita Talwalkar (5 September 1954 – 6 August 2014) was a Marathi film actress, producer and director. She won two National Film Awards as producer of the films ''Kalat Nakalat'' (1989) and ''Tu Tithe Mee'' (1998). Career Born as Smita Govilkar on 5 September 1954, Talwalkar was a television newsreader for 17 years before entering acting. Her initial successful films as an actress include ''Tu Saubhagyavati Ho'' and ''Gadbad Ghotala'', both of 1986. Ashok Saraf (Hindii pronunciation: ʃoːk səɾaːf born 4 June 1947) is an Indian film and stage actor and comedian. He has appeared in many Marathi language films and stage plays in lead roles and in Hindi language films and TV serials in supporting roles. Vikram Gokhale (14 November 1945 – 26 November 2022) was an Indian film, television and stage actor, noted for his roles in Marathi theatre, Hindi films and television. He was the son of the Veteran Marathi theater and film actor, Chandrakant Gokhale. Gokhale made his directorial debut in 2010, with the Marathi film ''Aaghaat''. Nilu Phule (Marathi pronunciation: iɭuː pʰuleː 4 April 1930 - 13 July 2009) was an Indian actor known for his roles in Marathi movies and Marathi theatre. Nilu Phule acted in around 250 Marathi and Hindi movies during his film career. He was most prominently seen playing the roles of notorious villains in the movies. Phule was also a social worker, and was associated with Rashtra Seva Dal. Early life Phule was born in 1930 in Pune as Nilkanth Krushnaji Phule in a Mali caste.
