''Kalaakaar'' () is a 1983 Indian Hindi-language romantic musical film directed by P. Sambasiva Rao and produced by P. Anand Rao. The film stars Sridevi and Kunal Goswami. It was released in the same year as ''Himmatwala'', Sridevi's breakthrough film in Bollywood, but unlike the former, ''Kalaakaar'' was a box office disappointment. It is a remake of the 1982 Tamil Film '' Payanangal Mudivathillai''. Despite the film's failure, its soundtrack by Kalyanji–Anandji was successful, especially the first track "Neele Neele Ambar Par" sung by Kishore Kumar & Sadhana Sargam. This song (Ilayanila) is originally composed by Ilayaraja and sung by SPB in tamil. Plot Radha Khanna comes from wealthy family and lives in a palatial house with her widowed father, Rohit. Kalyanji–Anandji
Kalyanji–Anandji are an Indian composer duo: Kalyanji Virji Shah (30 June 1928 – 24 August 2000) and his brother Anandji Virji Shah (born 2 March 1933). The duo are known for their work on Hindi film soundtracks, with many evergreen songs being composed by them. Some of their best-known works are '' Don'', '' Bairaag'', '' Saraswatichandra'', '' Qurbani'', Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Laawaris (film), ''Tridev'', ''Safar'', etc. They won the 1975 Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for ''Kora Kagaz''. Sadhana Sargam
Sadhana Sargam (née Ghanekar, born 7 March 1969) is an Indian singer known for her playback career in Indian cinema predominantly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil language films. She is a recipient of the National Film Award and Filmfare Awards South. She has also won five Maharashtra State Film Awards, four Gujarat State Film Awards, and one Orissa State Film. Early life Sargam was born to a family of musicians at Dabhol, the seaport town in Ratnagiri District of Maharashtra. Her mother Neela Ghanekar was a classical singer and music teacher and knew arranger–composer Anil Mohile, who then arranged music for Kalyanji-Anandji. ''Payanangal Mudivathillai'' (; ) is a 1982 Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by R. Sundarrajan. The film stars Mohan and Poornima Jayaram, with Rajini, S. Ve. Shekher, Poornam Viswanathan, Rajesh and Goundamani in supporting roles. Its plot revolves around a woman who falls in love with a singer whom she helped to rise to fame but struggles to declare her love for him. ''Payanangal Mudivathillai'' is Sundarrajan's directorial debut and the inaugural venture of Kovaithambi's Motherland Pictures. The film was produced by R. Elanchelian, Pollachi M. V. Rathinam and P. Ghungroo
A ghungroo ( hi, घुँघरू, ur, ), also known as ghunghroo or ghunghru or ghungur or ghungura (Assamese, Bengali and Odia) or Chilanka or Salangai or Gejje (in Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada respectively), is one of many small metallic bells strung together to form ghungroos, a musical anklet tied to the feet of classical Indian dancers. The sounds produced by ghungroos vary greatly in pitch depending on their metallic composition and size. Ghungroos serve to accentuate the rhythmic aspects of the dance and allow complex footwork to be heard by the audience. They are worn immediately above the ankle, resting on the lateral malleolus and medial malleolus. A string of ghungroos can range from 50 to greater than 200 bells knotted together.
