Kalabhavan Shajon
Shaji John, professionally credited by his stage name Kalabhavan Shajohn is an Indian actor, director and comedian who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. He started his career as a mimicry artist in Kalabhavan, Kochi. Making his debut in 1999 with My Dear Karadi and having made more than 90 appearances, he received a major breakthrough in his career with ''Drishyam'' (2013), in which he played a negative role. He made his directorial debut with '' Brother's Day'' starring Prithviraj. As of June 2021, he has starred in more than 130 Malayalam films. Personal life He was born as Shaji John to E. J. John, a retired ASI and Rejina, a retired nurse, in Varissery, Kottayam, Kerala in India. He studied at St. Mary's College, Manarcaud St. Mary's College, Manarcaud is a government aided college of higher education located in Manarcaud town, Kerala, India. Kottayam () is a municipal town in the Indian state of Kerala. Flanked by the Western Ghats on the east and the Vembanad Lake and paddy fields of Kuttanad on the west. ''Ee Parakkum Thalika'' () is a 2001 Indian Malayalam-language slapstick comedy drama film starring Dileep, Harisree Asokan, Nithya Das and Cochin Haneefa. It was directed by Thaha and written by V. R. Gopalakrishnan, seems to have been inspired by Mouse Hunt. The film was also the debut film of actress Nithya Das. The story follows bus owner Unnikrishnan and his assistant Sundareshan who live and sleep in their bus. It is considered one of the best slapstick comedy movies in Malayalam cinema and was one of the highest grossing Malayalam movie in 2001. ''Rajamanikyam'' is a 2005 Indian Malayalam-language action comedy film directed by Anwar Rasheed and written by T. A. Shahid.
