Kaja (singer)
Vesna Milačić (Serbian Cyrillic: Весна Милачић), known as Kaja, is a Montenegrin singer-songwriter. She was born on June 8, 1968, in Karaburma, a suburb of Belgrade. She was a former member of the rock band Crveno i Crno. She debuted as a lyricist in 1999, on Kotor Music Festival, where she performed her song "Sad mogu da ti kažem sve" in a duet with Igor Perazić. Kaja decided to write songs for other performers after she wrote the lyrics to Bojan Marović's song "Više Te Nema", that won the second place on Sunčane Skale Sunčane Skale was a pop music festival held every summer in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. Serbian Cyrillic
The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet ( sr, / , ) is a variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language, updated in 1818 by Serbian linguist Vuk Karadžić. It is one of the two alphabets used to write standard modern Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his alphabet on the previous Slavonic-Serbian script, following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written", removing obsolete letters and letters representing iotified vowels, introducing from the Latin alphabet instead, and adding several consonant letters for sounds specific to Serbian phonology. During the same period, linguists led by Ljudevit Gaj adapted the Latin alphabet, in use in western South Slavic areas, using the same principles. Pobjeda ( cyrl, Пoбjeдa, , lit. "The Victory") ( MNSENIPO is a Montenegrin daily newspaper. Having been published for 75 years, it is the oldest Montenegrin newspaper still in circulation; in the media, it is also the oldest Montenegrin active publication. Until September 1997 it was the only daily newspaper printed in Montenegro. On 21 May 2010, the newspaper dropped the Cyrillic script in favour of the Latin script. Karaburma ( sr-cyr, Карабурма) is an List of Belgrade neighborhoods, urban neighborhood of the municipality of Palilula Belgrade, Palilula, Belgrade, Serbia. As of 2002, it has a population of 55,343 inhabitants. Name The name, Karaburma, is Turkish language, Turkish for ''black ring'' which is supposed to mean that the area was forbidden, that is, it should be avoided by people. However, this may be an example of folk etymology as the old Ottoman Empire, Ottoman and Austrian maps name the area Kajaburun (Kaya-burun) which is Turkish for ''rocky headland''. Kotor (Montenegrin Cyrillic: Котор, ), historically known as Cattaro (from Italian: ), is a coastal town in Montenegro. It is located in a secluded part of the Bay of Kotor. Bojan Marović ( sr-cyrl, Бојан Маровић; born 21 May 1984) is a Montenegrin singer and actor. He is from Podgorica where he resides. Biography Bojan was born to parents Darko (1963–2001) and Sanja (1967). On April 7, 2001, his father Darko (1963–2001) died at age 38. On his 18th birthday, his mother, Sanja, Darko's widow, gave him his song "Više te nema", which won him third place in the Sunčane Skale festival. Sunčane Skale was a pop music festival held every summer in Herceg Novi, Montenegro. The festival began in 1994. The festival was held every year from 1994 to 2015, except in 1999 - NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. In 2016, it was cancelled for financial reasons. The festival The festival lasts for three days.
