Kaima
Kaima is a small rural town in Kono District in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. The town lies about to Yengema and to Koidu Town. The population of Kaima is estimated at 2,217 (2009). The town has two primary schools and one government secondary school named the Kaima Secondary School. The town also has a police station run by the Sierra Leone Police Force. Kono District
Kono District is a district in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. Its capital and largest city is Koidu, Koidu Town. Motema is the second most populous city in the district. The other major towns in the district include Yengema, Tombodu, Jaiama Nimikor and Sewafe. The district is the largest diamond producer in Sierra Leone. The population of Kono District is 505,767. Koidu
Koidu Town (or Sefadu) is the capital and largest city of the diamond-rich Kono District in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone. The population of Koidu Town is 124,6based on the 2015 Sierra Leone national census. Koidu Town is the fifth largest city in Sierra Leone by population, after Freetown, Kenema, Bo and Makeni. Kono People
The Kono people (pronounced ''koh noh'') are a major Mande peoples, Mande-speaking ethnic group in Sierra Leone at 5.2% of the country's total population. Their homeland is the diamond-rich Kono District in eastern Sierra Leone. The Kono are primarily diamond miners and farmers. Eastern Province, Sierra Leone
The Eastern Province is one of the four provinces of Sierra Leone. It covers an area of 15,553 km² and has a population of 1,641,012 (2015 census). Its capital and administrative centre is Kenema. Yengema is a town in Kono District in the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone, lying approximately west of Koidu, Koidu Town (the largest city in Kono District), and about east of Freetown.
