KADI-FM
KADI-FM (99.5 FM) is a Contemporary Christian Music radio station in Republic, Missouri serving the Springfield, Missouri area. The station is owned by Karen and R.C. Amer through its holding company Vision Communications. KADI-FM was also the call sign for a progressive rock station in St. Louis, MO, located first at 96.5, then later at 96.3 on the FM dial. The station was identified as KADI from 1959 until 1987, when the call letters were changed to KRJY. History KADI first went on the air as "99.5 KADI" in June 1990. The station employed approximately eight people; Chicago-based Snowmen Broadcasting Inc. owned it and RC Amer was a sales representative. A qāḍī ( ar, قاضي, Qāḍī; otherwise transliterated as qazi, cadi, kadi, or kazi) is the magistrate or judge of a '' sharīʿa'' court, who also exercises extrajudicial functions such as mediation, guardianship over orphans and minors, and supervision and auditing of public works. ''Kadi and Al Barakaat International Foundation v Council and Commission'' (2008) C-402/05 is a case concerning the hierarchy between international law and the general principles of EU law. It is also known as ''Kadi I'' to distinguish from a later related case, ''Kadi II'' (2013). Facts Mr Kadi, a Saudi resident with assets in Sweden, and Al Barakaat, a charity for Somali refugees, claimed that the freezing of their assets was unlawful. The seizures occurred without any court hearing, right of redress or allegation of wrongdoing. The UN Security Council had adopted resolutions under Chapter VII to freeze assets of people and groups associated with the Taliban and Osama bin Laden. The EU adopted regulations to give effect to which Sweden gave effect. The claimants were named in the resolution and the regulation. The Quadi were a Germanic * * * people who lived approximately in the area of modern Moravia in the time of the Roman Empire. The only surviving contemporary reports about the Germanic tribe are those of the Romans, whose empire had its border on the River Danube just to the south of the Quadi. Qazi Family Of Lakhnauti
The Qazi family of Lakhnauti ( bn, লখনৌতির কাজী খান্দান) was a medieval Bengali Muslim family who lived in the royal city of Lakhnauti in the Bengal Sultanate. The family was founded by Taj ad-Din an-Nahwi in the 15th century, and has produced numerous influential judges and scholars. The descendants of Shah Manjhan later moved to Gujarat and neighbouring states. Members The Qazi family are descended from Taj ad-Din an-Nahwi, who had Arab lineage from his ancestor, Shaykh Mahmud al-Qurashi al-Ishqi Randposh. A ''kadi'' ( ar, قاضي '; tr, kadı) was an official in the Ottoman Empire. The term ''kadi'' refers to judges who preside over matters in accordance with Islamic law, but in the Ottoman Empire, the ''kadi'' also became a crucial part of the central authority's administrative hierarchy. Kadhi or karhi is a dish popularly consumed in South Asia. It consists of a thick gravy based on gram flour, and contains vegetable fritters called pakoras, to which dahi (yogurt) is added to give it a bit of sour taste. It is often eaten with cooked rice or roti. Varieties of karhi include those from Rajasthan, Maharastra, Gujarat, Punjab and Sindh, which are located in present-day India and Pakistan.
