''Kaathadi'' ( Kite) is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Kalyaan. The film stars Avishek Karthik, Sai Dhanshika, and Baby Sathanya, with Daniel Annie Pope, Rajendran, Kaali Venkat, John Vijay, Kota Srinivasa Rao, and Sampath Raj in supporting roles. Kalyaan is an Indian people, Indian film director and screenwriter who has been working in Tamil film Industry.He is notable for his commercially successful films like ''Gulaebaghavali'' and ''Jackpot (2019 film), Jackpot'' . Career Kalyaan made a breakthrough as a potential director after winning the second season of the Tamil reality show, ''Naalaiya Iyakkunar''. Avishek Karthik is an Indian actor who has appeared in Tamil language films. Closely associated with director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Karthik has worked previously as Menon's assistant in the films ''Pachaikili Muthucharam'' (2007) and ''Vaaranam Aayiram'' (2008), before making a breakthrough as an actor through the director's experimental thriller ''Nadunisi Naaygal'' (2011). A. Rajendran,(born 1 June 1957) credited as Motta Rajendran or ''Naan Kadavul'' Rajendran, is an Indian stunt double and actor working mainly in Tamil cinema. Kaali Venkat (born 5 May 1984) is an Indian actor who mainly appears in Tamil language films. Personal life Venkat hails from Kudaiyadevanpatti a village near Kovilpatti. Venkat used to act in dramas during his school days. With an ambition to act in films he moved from his village to Chennai in 1997 to enter the Tamil cinema, Tamil film industry.
