The Lake Charles metropolitan statistical area is a metropolitan area in the Acadiana region of southwest Louisiana that covers two parishes— Calcasieu and Cameron. Urban adult contemporary, often abbreviated as urban AC or UAC, (also known as adult R&B,) is the name for a format of radio music, similar to an urban contemporary format. B&C Broadcasting Ltd
B&C Records (which stood for Beat & Commercial) was a British record label run by Trojan Records' owner, Lee Gopthal. It existed primarily between May 1969 and September 1972. In 1971, the progressive and folk artists that were still signed to the label were moved over to B&C's new Pegasus Records imprint (which later became Peg), though singles continued to be issued on the B&C label until 1972. Pegasus Records released 14 albums before closing down in 1972, after which most of the artists moved over to Mooncrest Records label. Ragley is an unincorporated community in Beauregard Parish, Louisiana, United States. The community is located at the junction of U.S. routes 171 and 190, north of Lake Charles. Ragley has a post office with ZIP code 70657. History Ragley began as a sawmill town that was built after the closing of the mill in Ragley, Texas (1900-1912). The owners of that mill were W. G.
