KSV Ankerbrot Montelaa is an Austrian association football club from the Favoriten district in Vienna, founded in 1936. The women's team, now defunct, were unexpectedly Austrian champions in 1975. At the turn of the 40s and 50s the men's team was one of the strongest in the country, however currently the club plays at an amateur level. The club has had numerous name changes and mergers over the course of its history. History Men's The association was founded in 1936 by Hans Milanovich and Karl Großhaupt as a company association called Wiener Ankerbrotwerke.Soon after Ankerbrot was promoted to the then second-tier Viennese Regional League in 1948. After the autumn round on December 4, 1948, the club was renamed to Favoritner SK Blau-Weiß to improve its appeal to the public. Favoriten (; Central Bavarian: ''Favoritn''), the 10th district of Vienna, Austria (german: 10. Bezirk, Favoriten), is located south of the central districts. It is south of Innere Stadt, Wieden and Margareten. Favoriten is a heavily populated urban area with many residential buildings, but also large recreational areas and parks. FC Linz was an Austrian football club, based in Linz, Upper Austria. History SK VÖEST Linz It was founded on 30 June 1946 as ''SV Eisen und Stahl 1946 Linz'', a factory squad of the public ''VÖEST'' steel company (present-day Voestalpine). In 1949, the team was renamed ''SK VÖEST Linz''. In 1969, ''SK VÖEST'' won the championship of the Regional League Central and was promoted to the ''Nationalliga'', the predecessor of the Bundesliga. ÖFB-Frauenliga
The ÖFB-Frauenliga (German for "ÖFB Women League") is the top level women's football league of Austria. Since 2002 the champion qualifies for the UEFA Women's Champions League. In the 2000s SV Neulengbach dominated the league, winning the championships for twelve consecutive years (from 2003 until 2014). Since then St. Pölten have emerged as the league's dominant team and have won five titles in a row. Format From the 2010-11 season onwards the 10 teams play each other twice, once home and once away. For three years, 2007-08 to 2009-10, a play-off system was played. The teams played a round robin (9 games each) for the regular season. After that, there are two playoff groups, the championship group with places 1 to 5, and the relegation group with places 6 to 10. The Austrian Cup (german: ÖFB-Cup), known as UNIQA ÖFB Cup for sponsorship purposes, is an annual football competition held by the Austrian Football Association, the ÖFB. During the 2008–09 season, Austria Wien won the tournament for 27th time, a record. Red Bull Salzburg are the current holders, winning the 2021-2022 tournament, making it their 8th successive win in the tournament and their 9th overall.
