Košarkaški klub Mladost ( sr-cyr, Кошаркашки клуб Младост), commonly referred to as KK Mladost Zemun or as Mladost Maxbet due to sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional basketball club based in Zemun, near Belgrade, Serbia. Basketball League Of Serbia
The Basketball League of Serbia ( sr, Кошаркашка лига Србије, Košarkaška liga Srbije; abbr. КЛС or KLS), is a top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia. Founded in 2006, it is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia, consists of two stages: the First League which has 16 teams and the SuperLeague which has 8 teams. Since the 2017–18 season, the top 8 teams in First League are promoted to Super League with five Serbian teams from the ABA League. Two lowest-placed teams, positioned 15th and 16th in the First League, are relegated to a lower-tier league – Second Basketball League of Serbia. Teams positioned 1st and 2nd in First League will be qualified for the next season's ABA League Second Division. The SuperLeague has 8 clubs divided into 2 groups of 4 teams. Dejan Srzić
Dejan Srzić ( sr-cyr, Дејан Срзић; born 28 June 1955), also known by his nickname Susla, is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. Coaching career During his coaching career, Srzić was a head coach for Varda Višegrad, Larisa, Panionios, Partizan, Jugotes TNN, Kumanovo, Mladost Zemun, Kolubara, Panathinaikos Limassol, Elektra, Radnički Belgrade, Mavrovo, Osijek 2016, Vrijednosnice Osijek Darda. Thomas Bruce "Trey" Drechsel III (born July 27, 1996) is an American professional basketball player for EWE Baskets Oldenburg of the Basketball Bundesliga. Early career Drechsel attended Cedar Park Christian High School in Bothell, Washington. Drechsel played four seasons at Western Washington in Bellingham, Washington, from 2014 to 2018. In the 2017–18 season, he was named to the All-GNAC First Team in 2018. In 2018, Drechsel moved to Grand Canyon for his senior season. Boris Bakić ( sr-cyr, Борис Бакић; born 23 May 1986) is a Montenegrin retired professional basketball player. Professional career Bakić grew up with KK Budućnost Podgorica, KK Budućnost youth team. Uroš Trifunović ( sr-cyr, Урош Трифуновић; born 5 December 2000) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Partizan Mozzart Bet of the Serbian KLS, the Adriatic League and the EuroLeague. Stefan Pot ( sr-cyr, Стефан Пот; born 15 July 1994) is a Serbian professional basketball player for Falco KC Szombathely of the Hungarian League.
