KF3
OK-Junior is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 11 to 15 (drivers must reach the age of 12 within the first semester of calendar year). This class used to be called Junior Intercontinental A (JICA or ICA-J) and has changed since January 2007 when CIK-FIA decided to replace the 100 cc air-cooled two-stroke engines with 125 cc Touch-and-Go (TaG) water-cooled two-stroke engines (KF type).The engines produce . The chassis and engines must be approved by the CIK-FIA. Minimum weight is 145 kg, including kart and driver. Karts are equipped with an electric starter and clutch. The engine rpm is limited to 14,000 rpm. It is one of the highest kart classes with national championships (perhaps with different tyre rules). Logan Hunter Sargeant (born December 31, 2000) is an American racing driver, who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Carlin. He will compete for Williams Racing in the 2023 Formula One World Championship, having graduated from the Williams Driver Academy. Early career Karting career Sargeant began his motorsport career in karting in 2008. In his first year, he competed in the Rotax Micro Max class in regional and national championships, finishing third in the Florida Winter Tour and the Rotax Max Challenge USA. CRG (kart Manufacturer)
CRG is a kart chassis manufacturer of recent years. Famous alumni include Alex Zanardi, Vitantonio Liuzzi, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. They were founded in the late 1970s by three Italian racers (Carlo Vanaria, Roberto Vanaria and Giancarlo Tinini), and were originally known as Kali Karts. In the beginning the company was a laughing stock, with Zanardi being told by his original team DAP that if he didn't stop complaining they would "send him to Kali". By the mid 1980s Kali had recovered from its inauspicious beginnings and was winning World Championships with drivers like Mike Wilson. The name change to CRG took place gradually in the early 1990s and ushered in an era of more World Championships from Danilo Rossi and Alessandro Manetti. Aaro Vainio (born 2 October 1993 in Espoo) is a Finnish racing driver, currently contesting in ADAC GT Masters. Career Karting Vainio has enjoyed a successful karting career. He won the Finnish championship in 2007, and in 2008 he won the European KF3 Championship and the Junior Monaco Kart Cup. In 2009 he was runner-up in the CIK-FIA Karting World Championship and won the European KF1 Champion.
