Bahar Kizil (Turkish: ''Bahar Kızıl''; born 5 October 1988) is a German singer and songwriter of Turkish descent, best known as one of the founding members of the girl group Monrose, which won the fifth season of the German version of ''Popstars (German TV series), Popstars''. Early life Born in Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg, Kizil is from a Turkish family from Bayburt, and her first name, Bahar, means "spring" (the season) in Turkish. At age 12, she started with ballet. In her town, she sang with four different bands prior to the ''Popstars (German TV series), Popstars'' casting. Career Kizil is one of the three winners of the fifth German ''Popstars'' season and was a member of the resulting group Monrose, together with Senna Gammour and Mandy Capristo. Kizil Caves
The Kizil Caves (also romanized as Qizil or Qyzyl; ; zh, s=克孜尔千佛洞, l=Kizil Caves of the Thousand Buddhas) are a set of Buddhist rock-cut caves located near Kizil Township ( zh, s=克孜尔乡, p=Kèzī'ěr Xiāng, labels=no) in Baicheng County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang, China. The site is located on the northern bank of the Muzat River 65 kilometres (75 km by road) west of Kucha. This area was a commercial hub of the Silk Road. The caves have an important role in Central Asian art and in the Silk Road transmission of Buddhism, and are said to be the earliest major Buddhist cave complex in China, with development occurring between the 3rd and 8th centuries CE. The caves of Kizil are the earlier of their type in China, and their model was later adopted in the construction of Buddhist caves further east. Kızıl Kule
The Red Tower () is a historical tower in the Turkish city of Alanya. The building is considered to be the symbol of the city, and is used on the city's flag. History Construction of the building began in the early reign of the Anatolian Seljuq Sultan Ala ad-Din Kay Qubadh I and was completed in 1226. The sultan brought the accomplished architect Ebu Ali Reha from Aleppo, Syria, to Alanya to complete the building. The octagonal red brick tower protects the Tersane (shipyard) which dates from 1221. The name derives from the more red color brick he used in its construction. The building itself is high and wide. It remains a fine example of medieval military architecture, and is the best preserved Seljuk building in the city. In 1979 the city opened the Ethnographic Museum of Alanya inside of the tower.
