Kıvanç Haznedaroğlu
Kıvanç Haznedaroğlu (born 1 January 1981) is a Turkish chess Grandmaster and a FIDE trainer. As of the July 2013 FIDE rating list, he is ranked among active players number 1,798 in the world and number twelve in Turkey. He earned the title of Grandmaster (GM) on 18 October 2009. He studied Hydrogeology at Hacettepe University in Ankara. Chess career Haznedaroğlu was born on 1 January 1981 in Ankara as the youngest of three boys. At the age of five or six, he got interested in chess playing as his uncle, a mathematics teacher, was training Kıvanç's older brothers. His father introduced then Kıvanç in chess. Already in 1987, he became champion in the national intra primary school tournament. He repeated his first place in the 1989-90 Turkish championship. 38th Chess Olympiad
The 38th Chess Olympiad (german: Die 38. Schacholympiade), organized by FIDE and comprising an open and a women's tournament, as well as several other events designed to promote the game of chess, took place from 12 to 25 November 2008 in Dresden, Germany. There were 146 teams in the open event and 111 in the women's event. In total, 1277 players were registered. Both tournament sections were officiated by international arbiter Ignatius Leong (Singapore). In a change from recent Olympiads, the number of rounds of the Swiss system were reduced from 13 to 11 with accelerated pairings. For the first time, the women's division, like the open division, was played over four boards per round, with each team allowed one alternate for a total of five players. Niclas Huschenbeth (born 29 February 1992) is a German chess grandmaster and a two-time German Chess Champion (2010, 2019). He played in the Chess Olympiads of 2008 and 2010. Chess career Huschenbeth won the German championship in 2010. He came first in the 2011 HSK Großmeisterturnier in Hamburg. He came third in the 2013 National Chess Congress in Philadelphia. Viesturs Meijers (born 5 December 1967 in Limbaži) is a Latvian chess player who holds the FIDE title of Grandmaster (2004). He starting playing chess at age 10 and his first trainer was I. Dambitis. Rinat Jumabayev
Rinat Jumabayev ( kk, Ринат Жұмабаев (''Rinat Jūmabaev''), also spelled ''Rinat Dzhumabaev''; born 23 July 1989) is a Kazakhstani chess player. He was awarded the title of Grandmaster by FIDE in 2009. Biography Many times Jumabayev represented Kazakhstan at the Asian Youth Chess Championships and World Youth Chess Championships in different age categories.
