Kévin Hoggas
Kévin Hoggas (born 16 November 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Waasland-Beveren in the Belgian First Division B. Career In the 2009–10 season, Hoggas was promoted to the first team of his hometown club Racing Besançon after progressing through their youth academy. After the bankruptcy of the club in 2012, he moved to Belfort. Thanks in part to Hoggas' strong performances, the club won promotion to the Championnat National, the third tier in French football, for the first time in their history in 2015. Hoggas, however, went up two divisions: he won a transfer to Ligue 2 club Évian Thonon Gaillard. His time at the club, however, turned out to be a disappointment: Hoggas was a starter in Ligue 2, but the club finished in a relegation spot and were even demoted to one tier lower due to financial problems. The Championnat National 2, commonly known as National 2 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur (CFA), is a football league competition. The league serves as the fourth tier of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and the Championnat National. The 2019–20 Belgian First Division A (officially known as Jupiler Pro League) was the 117th season of top-tier football in Belgium. On 2 April 2020, the Jupiler Pro League's board of directors agreed to propose to cancel the season early during the COVID-19 pandemic. Should this proposal be accepted, Club Brugge will be awarded the title. In the meantime UEFA has threatened to ban teams in Europe in case their respective leagues were terminated early without trying to have all remaining matches completed. The decision of whether to accept this proposal was initially meant to be decided by a vote at a meeting on 15 April 2020, but had been postponed three times. The Belgian Pro League,(officially the Jupiler Pro League due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler), is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 18 clubs since the 2020–21 season and reduced to 16 teams from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League. It was the second season of the First Division B following a change in league format from the old Belgian Second Division. The fixtures were announced near the end of June 2017. The 2014–15 Championnat de France amateur was the 17th season since its establishment. CS Sedan Ardennes, ASM Belfort, AS Béziers and Les Herbiers VF were promoted. Teams There were twelve teams promoted from Championnat de France amateur 2, while two teams were relegated from the 2013–14 Championnat de France amateur. No teams came from the 2013–14 Championnat National.
