Kepler Laveran de Lima Ferreira (born 26 February 1983), known as Pepe (; ), is a professional Association football, footballer who plays as a centre back for FC Porto, Porto and the Portugal national football team, Portugal national team. He is regarded as one of the best defenders of his generation. During his professional career, Pepe played for C.S. Marítimo, Marítimo, FC Porto, Porto, Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid, and Beşiktaş J.K., Beşiktaş, with individual and team success with the middle two clubs.
