KÃ¥re Magnus Bergh
Kåre Magnus Bergh (born 22 December 1978) is a Norwegian television host. Among other things, he has hosted several editions of the Melodi Grand Prix, which he is one of the program managers for, and the '' Stjernekamp''. Personal life Bergh was raised in Hamar, but has lived in Bergen and Oslo, among other places. He studied at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design, and from 2003 to 2004 he studied at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, Germany. Career From 2005 to 2007, he hosted the Norwegian show ''Idol'' at the television station TV2. He started working as a host at the rock radio station ''P4 Bandit'' in November 2006. In 2010, Bergh hosted the children's music competition '' Melodi Grand Prix Junior'' with Ingrid Gjessing Linhave. He hosted the ''Stjernekamp'' in 2012 with '' NRK'' and continued his work there in the following years. Melodi Grand Prix 2018
Melodi Grand Prix 2018 was the 56th edition of Melodi Grand Prix, Norway, Norway's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The competition was held on Saturday, 10 March 2018 in the Oslo Spektrum; which has hosted all the Norwegian finals since 2001. The hosts were Kåre Magnus Bergh and Silya Nymoen, who also hosted the finals in 2015 and 2016, and the former also in 2017. Ten songs participated in the final, and like 2017, the winner was chosen by the viewers together with ten international jury groups. Alexander Rybak won the competition with his self-composed song "That's How You Write a Song". Rybak also won both the Norwegian and international finals in 2009. Rybak represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Portugal in May 2018. There, the song finished as number 15 in the final. ''Verdens Gang'' ("The course of the world"), generally known under the abbreviation ''VG'', is a Norwegian tabloid newspaper. Melodi Grand Prix 2021
''Melodi Grand Prix 2021'' was the 59th edition of the Norwegian music competition Melodi Grand Prix (MGP). The contest served as the country's preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The competition was organized by NRK and was held between 16 January 2021 and 20 February 2021. A total of 26 songs participated – the highest number in the history of the competition. The competition consisted of five semi-finals, a " wild card" show, and the final on Saturday 20 February 2021. A total of twelve songs participated in the final. Of these, six songs were pre-qualified, while the rest had to qualify through the five semi-finals and the wild card show. All shows were broadcast live from the H3 Arena in Fornebu, just outside Oslo. The contest was won by the song "Fallen Angel" by Tix. Melodi Grand Prix 2020
Melodi Grand Prix 2020 was the 58th edition of the Norwegian music competition Melodi Grand Prix (MGP) and served as the country's preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020. The competition was organized by NRK between 11 January 2020 and 15 February 2020, and a total of 25 songs participated – the highest number in the history of the competition. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Norway's debut in the Eurovision Song Contest, five heats and a final were organised instead of a single final. Each region in Norway was assigned its own heat, in which four acts from that region competed for a spot in the final on 15 February 2020. In addition, five pre-qualified finalists had been selected by the broadcaster. The heats were held in the H3 Arena in Fornebu, while the final took place in Trondheim Spektrum. Silya Nymoen (Silje Haugum Nymoen, born January 3, 1978) is a Norwegian singer-songwriter based in Oslo. She is the lead singer and songwriter in the band Silya & The Sailors. Early life Silya was singing and playing classical piano by age 8. She majored in contemporary jazz dance at The Oslo National Academy of Art . Multicyde Silya first gained success being the lead singer of the Norwegian hip hop/pop group Multicyde that was signed to Warner Music Group and had three number 1 hits in Norway between 1999 and 2002.
