Christian H. Kälin or Kaelin (born 1971) is a Switzerland, Swiss lawyer, an author, and the chairman of Henley & Partners, an architect of Immigrant investor programs, citizenship-by-investment programs that allow wealthy individuals to obtain additional passports. Dubbed the "Passport King" by the media, he is credited with making citizenship by investment "a legitimate, largely above-board industry". Kälin has written a number of works on the subject of citizenship by investment. He is the author of the ''Global Residence and Citizenship Handbook'' and the co-author of the ''Quality of Nationality Index''. Walter Kälin (born 1951 in Zurich) is a Swiss humanitarian, constitutional lawyer, international human rights lawyer, activist, and advocate. He is also known as a legal scholar and a renowned professor. He has been a leader in changing Swiss laws and international laws for humanitarian purposes and he has been published extensively on issues of human rights law, the law of internally displaced persons, refugee law, and Swiss constitutional law. Early life and education Walter Kälin received his Doctor of Law from the University of Bern and his LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Alois "Wisel" Kälin (born 13 April 1939) is a former Swiss Nordic skier who competed in the 1960s and 1970s. He won a Nordic combined silver at the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble and a bronze in the 4 x 10 km cross-country skiing relay at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo. Additionally he won a bronze medal in the Nordic combined at the 1966 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo. Carolyn Kaelin (born Carolyn Mary Scerbo; April 4, 1961 – July 28, 2015) was an American cancer surgeon. She worked at the Dana–Farber Cancer Institute and founded the Comprehensive Breast Health Center at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 1995.
