Kyung-Ahm Prize
The Kyung-Ahm Prize is a series of awards presented annually from the Kyung-Ahm Education & Cultural Foundation. Founded in 2005 with a 100 billion KRW endowment by Geum-Jo Song, the award originally had four categories and in addition to the award, laureates are given 100 million KRW to 200 million KRW in prize money; the highest nationally. The foundation also hosts academic lectures by laureates. Recipients The award has been given to the following individuals among four to six categories. Lee Young-hoon
Lee Young-hoon (이영훈, 李榮薰, born 1951 in Daegu, South Korea), Lee Yong-hoon, Rhee Yong-hoon, or Yi Yŏnghun is a former professor of economics at Seoul National University and the president of the Naksungdae Institute of Economic Research (낙성대경제연구소). He is a member and co-representative of the Textbook Forum of the New Right (South Korea), New Right Party. He is known for undertaking new Positivism, positivistic research on the Economy of Joseon. Career Lee graduated from Department of Economics, Seoul National University, Seoul University, and attained Doctor of Economics. South Korean Awards
South is one of the cardinal directions or compass points. The direction is the opposite of north and is perpendicular to both east and west. Lee Young-hee (physicist)
Lee Young-hee (born 28 July 1955) is a South Korean physicist. He is currently professor in physics and energy science at Sungkyunkwan University as a SKKU fellow. He is also director of the Center for Integrated Nanostructure Physics in the Institute for Basic Science (IBS). He has been a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher in the cross-field category in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Education Lee received a B.S. in physics, Chonbuk National University in 1982. O-Gon Kwon
O-Gon Kwon (born 2 September 1953) () is a noted international South Korean judge, best known for being one of the three judges in the trial of Slobodan Milošević. He also sat on the bench for the trial of former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadžić. Early life and education Kwon holds an LL.B. (1976) and an LL.M. (1983) from Seoul National University. He took his Bar Apprenticeship in the Judicial Research and Training Institute at the Supreme Court of Korea (1979). Judge Kwon also holds an LL.M. (1985) from Harvard Law School. Seung H-Sang
Seung H-Sang () is a South Korean architect who studied at Seoul National University and Technische Universitaet in Wien. After working for Kim Swoo-geun from 1974 to 1989, he established his own office IROJE architects&planners in 1989. Yeom Han-woong
Yeom Han-woong (born 5 December 1966) is a South Korean physicist. A tenured professor at POSTECH, he has led several research centers for the university and from 2013 in collaboration with the Institute for Basic Science. Baek Sung-hee
Baek Sung-hee (born 1970) is a South Korean scientist specialising in molecular genetics. Her work is focused on the chromatin dynamics and epigenetic regulatory mechanism in cancer. She received her BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from Seoul National University. Kim Uchang (, born 17 December 1937) is a South Korean literary critic and scholar of English literature. He is known for his arguments on building a rational society based on “aesthetic rationality” and moving beyond the dichotomy of conservatism and liberalism, modernism and post-modernism, nationalism and globalism, and literature as an ideology to empower the masses and literature as an art free of any political context. Soo-Bong Kim
Soo-Bong Kim is a South Korean physicist. Education Kim was born and raised in Busan, South Korea. He attended Dongrae High School, graduating in the class of 1979. Kim then graduated in 1983 and obtained his MS degree from Seoul National University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1989. Kim's Ph.D. thesis was supervised by Alfred K.
