Kysre Gondrezick
Kysre Rae Gondrezick (born July 27, 1997) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. She previously played for the WNBA's Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky. High school and college career Gondrezick attended Benton Harbor High School in Michigan. She was named 2016 Michigan Miss Basketball and Michigan Gatorade POY playing for Benton Harbor High School with her mom serving as an assistant coach. Gondrezick averaged 40.5 points per game as senior and graduated as No. 2 scorer in Michigan girls history (2,827). She played college basketball at the University of Michigan and West Virginia University. Professional career Gondrezick was the 4th pick in the 2021 WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever. In January 2022, Gondrezick was waived by the Indiana Fever. After joining the Chicago Sky for the team's 2022 training camp, Gondrezick was waived on May 4 and did not make the final roster for opening night. Benton Harbor is a city in Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is 46 miles southwest of Kalamazoo and 71 miles southwest of Grand Rapids. 2021 Indiana Fever Season
The 2021 Indiana Fever season was the franchise's 22nd season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The regular season tipped off on May 14, 2021 at the New York Liberty. The Fever started the season by losing four games before winning their first game on May 23. The team then went on a twelve game losing streak, which included going 0–8 during the month of June. However, before the Olympic break, the Fever won three straight games, to end the first portion of the season with a 4–16 record. They lost the first two games in August coming out of the Olympic break, but won two of the next three. The 2021 WNBA season was the 25th season of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Seattle Storm were the defending champions. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teams played a 32-game season (rather than the 36 games agreed to in the original 2020 season schedule) that included mini two-game series to reduce travel.
