	Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League The Northern Rivers Regional Rugby League (NRRRL) is a rugby league competition run in the far north of New South Wales, Australia. It is run under the auspices of the Country Rugby League. The league formed in 2005 as an extended Group 1 Rugby League competition, featuring teams from Group 18 Rugby League. Prior to this, teams from Group 18 played in a competition with teams from the Gold Coast region of Queensland. Both Group 1 and Group 18 continue to run junior competitions. The competitions run by NRRRL include: First grade, Reserve grade, Under-18's and Ladies League Tag. 	David Grant (rugby League) David "Nana" Grant (1956–1994) was an Australian rugby league footballer originally from Dubbo, New South Wales. He played as a prop/back-rower in the 1970s and 1980s for a number of teams in the New South Wales Rugby Football League (NSWRFL) competition. Grant originally came to Sydney from Forbes and made his debut for the South Sydney Rabbitohs in 1976. The following year he moved to play for the Eastern Suburbs Roosters for one season, becoming the club's 678th capped player, before moving to spend four years with the Balmain Tigers. Grant toured NZ with a Combined Sydney side that year, then moved to the newly promoted Canberra club in 1982. He was the Raiders's first captain in its inaugural season in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership. 	Tweed Heads Seagulls The Tweed Heads Seagulls, often referred to simply as Tweed or Seagulls or Tweed Seagulls, is a rugby league club based in Tweed Heads, New South Wales. It is one of only two non-Queensland teams to play in the Queensland Cup, along with the PNG Hunters. History Union beginnings Seagulls Football Club was established in 1908 and began competing in the Tweed District Rugby Union competition in 1909. Land located in the west of Tweed-Heads was purchased where the stadium and clubhouse were built in 1972. The Seagulls played their home games at Tweed Heads Recreation Ground.
