Kyle Duncan (soccer)
Kyle Barri Duncan (born August 8, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a right-back for Major League Soccer club New York Red Bulls, on loan from Oostende. He is a cousin of fellow professional soccer player Timothy Weah. Career Youth Born in Brooklyn, New York, Duncan began his career in the New York Red Bulls Academy. On August 6, 2014, Duncan played with the Red Bulls reserve team against United Soccer League team Harrisburg City Islanders, and he started all 13 games in the Red Bulls under-18s 2014 fall season. Duncan declined a professional contract with New York Red Bulls II in 2015, instead pursuing opportunities in Europe. The New York Red Bulls are an American professional soccer club based in the New York metropolitan area. The Red Bulls compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. The club was established in October 1994 and began play in the league's inaugural season in 1996 as the New York/New Jersey MetroStars. Providence Park
Providence Park (formerly Jeld-Wen Field; PGE Park; Civic Stadium; originally Multnomah Stadium; and from 1893 until the stadium was built, Multnomah Field) is an outdoor soccer venue located in the Goose Hollow neighborhood of Portland, Oregon. It has existed in rudimentary form since 1893, and as a complete stadium since 1926. First Tennessee Park
First Horizon Park, formerly known as First Tennessee Park, is a baseball park in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, United States. The home of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds of the International League, it opened on April 17, 2015, and can seat up to 10,000 people. It replaced the Sounds' former home, Herschel Greer Stadium, where the team played from its founding in 1978 through 2014. The park was built on the site of the former Sulphur Dell, a minor league ballpark in use from 1885 to 1963. 2018 USL Season
The 2018 USL season was the eighth season of the United Soccer League and second under Division II sanctioning. The previous season, the USL had provisional Div. II sanctioning from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) along with the North American Soccer League, but was given full sanctioning for the 2018 season with a two-year deadline to meet the full requirements set by U.S. Soccer. Louisville City FC were the defending USL Cup champions, while Real Monarchs were the defending Supporters’ Shield champions. This season was the last for four teams in the USL, with all changing leagues for 2019 and beyond. FC Cincinnati will join Major League Soccer. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. A loan fee can be arranged by the parent club as well as them asking to pay a percentage of their wages. Association football Players may be loaned out to other clubs for several reasons.
