Kyle Dempsey
Kyle Michael Dempsey (born 17 September 1995) is an English professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Bolton Wanderers F.C., Bolton Wanderers. Early life Dempsey was born in Whitehaven, Cumbria. His father Michael Dempsey played rugby league professionally for Workington Town and he nearly followed his father into the sport, having played for youth sides at Wigan Warriors before electing to pursue a career in professional football. Career Dempsey made his first-team debut for Carlisle United F.C., Carlisle United on 28 January 2014 in a 3–0 win over Milton Keynes Dons F.C., Milton Keynes Dons. Whitehaven
Whitehaven is a town and port on the English north west coast and near to the Lake District National Park in Cumbria, England. Historically in Cumberland, it lies by road south-west of Carlisle and to the north of Barrow-in-Furness. It is the administrative seat of the Borough of Copeland, and has a town council for the parish of Whitehaven. The population of the town was 23,986 at the 2011 census. The town's growth was largely due to the exploitation of the extensive coal measures by the Lowther family, driving a growing export of coal through the harbour from the 17th century onwards. It was also a major port for trading with the American colonies, and was, after London, the second busiest port of England by tonnage from 1750 to 1772. KCOM Stadium
The MKM Stadium (also known as the Hull City Stadium due to UEFA sponsorship regulations) is a multi-purpose facility in the city of Kingston upon Hull, England. The stadium was previously called the KC Stadium, but was renamed the KCOM Stadium as part of a major rebrand by the stadium's sponsor KCOM, on 4 April 2016. In June 2021, it was renamed the MKM Stadium as part of a five-year sponsorship with MKM Building Supplies. Conceived in the late 1990s, it was completed in 2002 at a cost of approximately £44 million. The stadium is owned by Hull City Council and operated by the Stadium Management Company (SMC), who have previously considered expanding the stadium capacity up to 32,000. Maryport
Maryport is a town and civil parish in the Allerdale borough of Cumbria, England, historically in Cumberland. The town is situated just outside the Lake District National Park, at the northern end of the former Cumberland Coalfield. Location Maryport is located on the A596 road north of Workington, west of Keswick and south-west of Carlisle. The Carlisle Courts of Justice is a Crown Court venue, which deals with criminal cases, and a County Court venue, which deals with civil cases, in Earl Street, Carlisle, England. History Until the early 1990s, all criminal court hearings in Carlisle were held in the Carlisle Citadel. However, as the number of court cases in Carlisle grew, it became necessary to commission a more modern courthouse for criminal matters: the site selected by the Lord Chancellor's Department had been occupied by Hetherington's Cattle Auction Market which dated back at least to the mid-19th century. The new building was designed by Napper Collerton in the Modernist style, built in red brick with stone dressings at a cost of £9.3 million, and was completed in 1992.
