The Kyiv River Port ( uk, Київський річковий порт; translit. ''Kyivskyi richkovyi port'') is the main river port of Kyiv, located on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Podil neighborhood of the city. The port has an own fleet that serves as a shipping company. It also has departments in Pereiaslav and Rzhyshchiv. The passenger part of the port has been renovated to house American University of Kyiv since 2021. Kyiv, historically situated on the right bank of the Dnieper River, now covers both banks of the river whose width, as it flows through the city, reaches several hundred metres. Additionally, several tributaries join the Dnieper inside or just north or south of the historic city. Rzhyshchiv River Port also called Rzhyshchivsky Port is a port enterprise on the Dnieper River, and is located in the city of regional importance Rzhyshchiv. There is a coffee shop that was formerly a station building. Pereiaslav River Port is an enterprise in the field of river transport. It is located on the Dnipro in Pereiaslav on the banks of the Kaniv Reservoir. It is a branch of the Kyiv River Port. History Pereiaslav-Khmelnytsky River Port, operates, although not in large quantities.
