Ky Bowman
Kyran Bowman (born June 16, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for New Basket Brindisi of the Lega Basket Serie A. He played college basketball for the Boston College Eagles. Early life and high school Bowman grew up in Havelock, North Carolina and was a two-sport star in basketball and football at Havelock High School. He was rated a three star recruit as a wide receiver and initially committed to play football at North Carolina as a sophomore over offers from major football programs, including Alabama, before ultimately de-committing in order to pursue basketball despite only having one scholarship offer from a Division I school at the time (East Carolina). The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. 2016–17 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2016–17 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2016, followed by the start of the 2016–17 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play started in late December 2016 and concluded in March. With a win over Pittsburgh on February 25, 2017, North Carolina clinched at least a share of the ACC regular season championship for the second straight season, the eighth time in the 14 years under head coach Roy Williams, and the 31st time in school history. A loss by Duke later that day gave the Tar Heels the outright regular season championship. The ACC tournament was held from March 7–11, 2-17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Memphis Tigers Men's Basketball
The Memphis Tigers men's basketball team represents the University of Memphis in NCAA Division I men's college basketball. The Tigers have competed in the American Athletic Conference since 2013. As of 2020, the Tigers had the 26th highest winning percentage in NCAA history. The California Golden Bears men's basketball team is the college basketball team of the University of California, Berkeley.
