Kwoun Sun-tae
Kwoun Sun-tae ( Hangul: 권순태; Hanja: 權純泰; ; born September 11, 1984) is a South Korean former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Kashima Antlers and the South Korean national football team. Club career Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors After graduating from Jeonju University, Kwoun signed his first professional deal with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in 2006 and quickly displaced team-mate Lee Kwang-suk as first choice goalkeeper. Kwoun made 43 first team appearances in his first season, most notably winning the 2006 AFC Champions League after beating Al-Karamah SC in the final. After a successful debut season, Kwoun cemented himself as Jeonbuk's first choice goalkeeper for Jeonbuk under manager Choi Kang-hee. Kashima Antlers
are a football club in Kashima, Ibaraki, currently playing in the J1 League, top tier of Japanese professional football leagues. The name ''Antlers'' is derived from the city name, Kashima, which literally means "deer island". The club has financial backing from Mercari, a Japanese e-commerce company. Conscription In South Korea
Conscription in South Korea has existed since 1957 and requires male citizens between the ages of 18 and 35 to perform compulsory military service. Women are not required to perform military service, but they may voluntarily join the military. Establishment The basis for military conscription in South Korea is the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, which was promulgated on 17 July 1948. The constitution states in Article 39, "All citizens shall have the duty of national defense under the conditions as prescribed by Act." In addition, the conscription is defined and acted by the "Military Service Act" (병역법). 2017 AFC Champions League
The 2017 AFC Champions League was the 36th edition of Asia's premier club football tournament organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 15th under the current AFC Champions League title. Dyanfres Douglas Chagas Matos (born December 30, 1987), or simply Douglas, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Kashiwa Reysol, as a striker. Career Douglas signed for Tokushima Vortis in July 2010. He made his J2 League debut on 25 July 2010 against Tokyo Verdy. AFC Champions League
The AFC Champions League (abbreviated as ACL) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation, and contested by Asia's top-division football clubs. Choi Eun-sung
Choi Eun-sung (born 5 April 1971) is a South Korean former professional footballer who last played for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. He spent 15 seasons as the goalkeeper with Daejeon Citizen. He played for the South Korea national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. He was the first goalkeeper to score in the AFC Champions League, in a match against Monte Carlo on 9 October 2002. Daejeon Citizen went on to win the match 5–1. In February 2012, just before the 2012 league campaign, Choi requested to extend his contract with Daejeon for one more year, but the board rejected his proposal and he was forced to leave the club and become a free agent.
