The Kwita Izina Cycling Tour was a multi-day road cycling race in Rwanda that was held annually from 2009 until 2012. It was part of UCI Africa Tour The UCI Continental Circuits are a series of road bicycle racing competitions which were introduced in 2005 by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) to expand cycling around the world. The five circuits (representing the continents of Africa, th ... as a 2.2 event for the final two editions. Rwanda

Daniel Teklehaimanot Girmazion ( ti, ዳንኤል ተክለሃይማኖት ግርማጽዮን, ; born 10 November 1988) is a professional Road bicycle racing, road racing cyclist from Eritrea, who last rode for UCI Professional Continental team . Career Teklehaimanot was a member of the Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI's World Cycling Centre training program before signing for the new Australian cycling team in 2012. Whilst at the World Cycling Centre he was diagnosed with tachycardia, which was corrected by surgery in early 2009. Azzedine Lagab (born 18 September 1986) is an Algerian road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI Continental team . During his career he won medals in Algerian national championships, in African and Arab cycling championships as well as at the All Africa Games and the Pan-Arab Games.
