Kuzhithurai Railway Station
Kuzhithurai railway station (Station code: KZT) is the second-biggest station in Kanyakumari district (NSG 5 Category). For train transportation the Marthandam is the main hub for Kalkulam and Vilavancode talukas. The Kalkulam and Vilavancode talukas have the population around seven lakes. The Kuzhithurai station is found to be centered between Trivandrum– Kanniyakumari railway route. This railway station collection is more than seven crore per annum and a daily passenger patronage of more than 50,000 people. The station has two platforms and falls on the Kanniyakumari–Trivandrum line in the Trivandrum division of the Southern Railway zone. Chennai Egmore–Guruvayur Express
Guruvayur Express is one of the express trains of Southern Railway zone in India, which runs between Chennai Egmore in Tamilnadu to Guruvayur in Kerala. This train is the successor the erstwhile (MS) - (CHTS) Mixed Express. The Mixed Express stopped running after (CHTS) was closed down for Passenger services in 2000. Background Earlier it used to connect (CHTS) with state capital of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram and was later extended to Nagercoil, Madurai and then Chennai. (CHTS) was closed down for Passenger services in 2000. Hence the Train was introduced in 2003 to run between capital of Tamil Nadu, Chennai and the temple city, Guruvayur in Thrissur district of Kerala via Tiruchirapalli, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Trivandrum the capital city of Kerala, Ernakulam & Thrissur. Kanyakumari
Kanniyakumari (; , referring to Devi Kanya Kumari), also known as Cape Comorin, is a city in Kanniyakumari district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Punalur is a Municipality in Kollam district of Kerala State in India. It is the headquarter of the Punalur Taluk and Punalur Revenue Division. Ananthapuri Express is an express train running between and via , Nagercoil Town, Tirunelveli Junction, Madurai Junction, Tiruchchirappalli Junction and Villupuram Junction through the trunk line and chord lines in southern India. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (officially Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Bombay station code: CSMT ( mainline)/ST (suburban)), is a historic railway terminus and UNESCO World Heritage Site in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The terminus was designed by a British born architectural engineer Frederick William Stevens from an initial design by Axel Haig, in an exuberant Italian Gothic style.
