Kuwait Motor Town
Kuwait Motor Town is a motor racing circuit in Kuwait, located south of the capital Kuwait City. The main circuit is the first circuit in Kuwait to hold an FIA Grade One and FIM Grade A licence. The Kuwait Motor Town aims to place Kuwait at the forefront of world-class motorsport events. History The circuit was penned by Formula One circuit designer Hermann Tilke in early 2017. Construction was undertaken by KCC Engineering and Contracting Company at a reported cost of KWD49 million ( US$162 million). Circuit construction was completed in December 2018 with the circuit opening in 2019. Further development around the circuit is set to take place, including an "Entertainment City" shopping centre. The first event held at the circuit was the opening round of the 2019 Middle East Rally Championship on March 28. Group GT3
Group GT3, known technically as Cup Grand Touring Cars and commonly referred to as simply GT3, is a set of regulations maintained by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) for grand tourer racing cars designed for use in various auto racing series throughout the world. 2023 Formula 4 UAE Championship
The 2023 Formula 4 UAE Championship was the seventh season of the Formula 4 UAE Championship, a motor racing series for the United Arab Emirates regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations, and organised and promoted by the Emirates Motorsport Organization (EMSO) and Top Speed. The regular season commenced on 13 January at the Dubai Autodrome and concluded on 19 February at the Yas Marina Circuit. The Tatuus F4-T421 is an open-wheel formula race car, designed, developed and built by Italian manufacturer Tatuus, for Formula 4 junior categories, since 2021. James Wharton (racing Driver)
James Anthony Wharton (born 8 July 2006) is an Australian racing driver who currently competes in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship for Prema Racing. He was a race winner in Italian F4, finishing fourth in 2023. He was a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy between 2021 and 2023. The Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) is a motor rally championship run under the auspicies of the FIA. First held in 1984 the championship encompasses a series of rallies held across Western Asia.
