Kut-e Abdollah, Khuzestan
Kut-e Abdollah ( fa, كوت عبدالله) is a city in the Central District (Karun County), Central District of Karun County, Khuzestan province, Khuzestan province, Iran, serving capital of both the county and the district. The city is the merger of the former villages of Astishan, Darvishabad, Khuzestan, Darvishabad, Gavmishabad, Ahvaz, Gavmishabad, Gondamakar, Hadiabad, Khuzestan, Hadiabad, Khazami, Kut-e Abdollah, Kut-e Navaser, Kuy-e Montazeri, and Shariati-ye Yek. At the 2006 National Census, its population (as the total of its constituent villages before the merger) was 64,808 in 11,903 households, when it was in Kut-e Abdollah Rural District of the Central District (Ahvaz County), Central District of Ahvaz County. The following census in 2011 counted 63,639 people in 14,128 households.
