Kurz Ibn Jabir Al-Fihri
Kurz ibn Jabir al-Fihri was a companion of Muhammad but used to be an enemy. During the Invasion of Safwan he rustled some grazing cattle belonging to the Muslim community. Muhammad sent seventy Muslims after him, who chased him to Safwan, at the outskirts of Badr, Saudi Arabia, Badr. The First Expedition to Badr, Saudi Arabia, Badr ( ar, غزوة سفوان ''ghazwa Safawān'') or the Preliminary Badr Invasion occurred in year 2 Hijri year, AH of the Islamic calendar, in Rabiʽ al-Awwal, Rabi ul Awal (September 623). Kurz ibn Jabir al-Fihri raided Muslim territory and stole pasturing camels belonging to Madinah. Muhammad was a three days distance away. Muhammad mobilized 70 men. By the time Muhammad reached the valley of Safawan, al-Fihri fled. Once they passed Al Haja, they proceed to al Kut, also known today as Kuwait. Badr ( ar, بَـدْر, full name: Badr Hunayn, ar, بدر حنین) is a town in Al Madinah Province, Al-Hijaz, Saudi Arabia. It is located about from the Islamic holy city of Medina. It was the location of the Battle of Badr, between the Quraishi-led Polytheists, and the Muslims under the leadership of Muhammad, in 624 CE. History Badr is located 130 kilometers southwest of Medina and lies in a harsh natural landscape of desert plains, steep hills and sand dunes.
