Kurunjang is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Melton local government area. Kurunjang recorded a population of 10,711 at the 2021 census. Education The suburb contains three schools: Kurunjang Primary School, Kurunjang Secondary College and Heathdale Christian College. Recreation Located in the south of the suburb is Kurunjang Recreation Reserve, home to the Satellite City Soccer Club. Adjacent to that are six tennis courts. North-west of Kurunjang Recreation Reserve is the French Athletic and Track field and the Melton Hockey ground. In the north-west of the suburb, there is Pennyroyal park, which has some playground facilities and open space. Heathdale Christian College is a private, non-denominational, Christian, co-educational school in Werribee, in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Harkness, Victoria
Harkness is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, North west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Melton local government area. Harkness recorded a population of 12,463 at the 2021 census. The suburb was gazetted by the Office of Geographic Names on 9 February 2017, following a proposal for eleven new suburbs by the City of Melton. The new name officially took effect from 23 August 2017. Prior to the suburb's creation, the area was mostly part of Melton West, in addition to a small section of Toolern Vale in the north.
