Kurunegala Warriors
Kurunegala Warriors cricket team is one of the five provincial cricket teams which make up the Sri Lankan domestic cricket structure representing mainly two districts of North Western Province, Sri Lanka, and with some nearby provinces. In previous occasions, the province was included in to Wayamba cricket team, where part of them was combined in this season as Kurunegala Warriors. The cricket team's first participation came during the Twenty20 competition known as the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 2016 season which was known as Super T20 Provincial Tournament. The team plays their matches in Colombo R. Premadasa Stadium, though the home ground is Welagedara Stadium. Mahela Udawatte is the captain of the side. Chamara Kapugedera, Upul Tharanga and Nuwan Pradeep are some of the other notable current Test cricketers and Limited overs cricketers in the national side. Mahela Udawatte
Mahela Lakmal Udawatte known as Mahela Udawatte ( si, මහේල උඩවත්ත) (born 19 July 1986) is a professional Sri Lankan International cricketer. He played as opening batsman in debut series in 2008, which shifted to become a middle order batsman for his comeback in 2017. He played his first Test Match against West Indies in 2018 after 10 years from his limited overs debut. Rumesh Buddika Muthukumarana (born 14 November 1990) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler who currently plays for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club. He was born in Matara District and had his education at Mahinda College, Galle, where he started his cricket career. Cricket career He represented Sri Lanka in the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, which was held in New Zealand. Balapuwaduge Kusal Gimhan Mendis, generally known as Kusal Mendis is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays as a top-order batter in all forms of the game. He only played sixteen first-class matches before playing for the national side. Leg Break
Leg spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A leg spinner bowls right-arm with a wrist spin action. The leg spinner's normal delivery causes the ball to spin from right to left (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, that is away from the leg side, and this is where it gets the name leg break. Leg spinners bowl mostly leg breaks, varying them by adjusting the line and length, and amount of side spin versus topspin of the deliveries.
