Kurt Leroy Haws (born September 25, 1969) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at the University of Utah and was drafted in the fourth round of the 1994 NFL Draft. Haws was also selected by the Carolina Panthers in the 1995 NFL Expansion Draft. The Carolina Panthers are a professional American football team based in Charlotte, North Carolina. History The origins of the paper lie with ''The Spartan'', a weekly paper reportedly first printed in about 1842–43. In 1844, this was renamed ''The Carolina Spartan''. The 1994 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting.
