Kurt Felix (television Presenter)
Kurt Felix (27 March 1941 – 16 May 2012) was a Swiss television presenter and entertainer. Biography In the 1970s, Felix developed and hosted ''Teleboy'', the most watched TV-programme in the history of the Swiss television ( DRS). The show is considered to be a predecessor of '' Surprise, Surprise''. Felix and his wife, singer Paola Del Medico, hosted ''Verstehen Sie Spaß?'', a Candid Camera-style show, for the German TV station ARD between 1981 and 1990. Each episode attracted around 30 million viewers in Central Europe. Gall ( la, Gallus; 550 646) according to hagiographic tradition was a disciple and one of the traditional twelve companions of Columbanus on his mission from Ireland to the continent. Deicolus was the elder brother of Gall. Paola del Medico Felix (born 5 October 1950) is a Swiss singer. Career Born in Saint-Gall to an Italian father and a Swiss mother, Paola del Medico has sung mostly in German and French. She represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1969 with the song " Bonjour, Bonjour", finishing in fifth place. In 1980, she represented Switzerland for a second time in the Eurovision Song Contest with " Cinéma", where she finished in fourth place. ''Surprise Surprise'' is a British light entertainment television programme for ITV that originally ran from 6 May 1984 to 26 December 2001 with Cilla Black as the host. The show returned from 21 October 2012 to 26 July 2015 and was hosted by Holly Willoughby. Format The show was hosted by Cilla Black, and filmed in front of a studio audience. ARD is a joint organisation of Germany's regional public-service broadcasters. It was founded in 1950 in West Germany to represent the common interests of the new, decentralised, post-war broadcasting services – in particular the introduction of a joint television network. Thymoma
A thymoma is a tumor originating from the epithelial cells of the thymus that is considered a rare malignancy. Thymomas are frequently associated with neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis; thymoma is found in 20% of patients with myasthenia gravis. Once diagnosed, thymomas may be removed surgically. In the rare case of a malignant tumor, chemotherapy may be used.
