Kuroyama Station
is a train station in Kita-ku, Niigata, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It is also a freight terminal for the Japan Freight Railway Company. Lines Kuroyama Station is served by the Hakushin Line, and is 18.0 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Niigata Station. The abbreviated JNR or , was the business entity that operated Japan's national railway network from 1949 to 1987. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks). , or , is one of the seven constituent companies of Japan Railways Group (JR Group). It provides transportation of cargo nationwide throughout Japan.
