Keiichirō Akagi
, born was a Japanese actor. Akagi appeared in over 26 films in his short three-year career. Kenju burai-chō series and The Call of the Foghorn are Akagi's notable films. In 1958, he joined the Nikkatsu company. He landed the lead role for the first time in 1959 film '' Age of Nudity'' directed by Seijun Suzuki. In 1960, Akagi won Elan d'or Award for Newcomer of the Year. Akagi was one of the box office hitter of Nikkatsu company alongside Yujiro Ishihara and Akira Kobayashi. At around 12:20 PM on February 14, 1961, during a lunch break while shooting ''Gekiryū ni Ikiru Otoko,'' where he served as a replacement for injured Yūjirō Ishihara, Akagi was driving a go-cart brought by a salesman in the Nikkatsu studio but spun out of control and crashed into a steel door of a large tool warehouse at a speed of more than 60 km/h. Shinsaku Himeda
was a Japanese cinematographer from Kakogawa, Hyōgo Prefecture. Himeda dropped out of Teikoku Art University and started working as an assistant cameraman at the Nikkatsu Tamagawa studio in 1937. In 1949, he promoted to cinematographer. He moved to Nikkatsu film company in 1954 and often worked with Shōhei Imamura. In 1964, Himeda received the Mainichi Film Award for Best Cinematography award for his work in ''Unholy Desire''. , commonly called , is Japan's oldest film magazine and began publication in July 1919. It was first published three times a month, using the Japanese ''Jun'' (旬) system of dividing months into three parts, but the postwar ''Kinema Junpō'' has been published twice a month. was a Japanese actor. Biography He began acting at the Yoshi Hijikatas theatre Company after dropping out of Nihon University. Kusanagi made his film debut in 1953 in ''Yoake Mae'' directed by Kōzaburō Yoshimura. In 1956, he starred in ''Darkness at Noon'', which was based on the true story of an innocent man arrested, tried and executed for a crime he didn't commit. Kusanagi appeared in over 40 films, mostly in supporting roles, in films such as ''Alone on the Pacific'', '' The Sun'', '' Bee Bop High School'', and '' The Man Who Stole the Sun''.
