Kurdali Language
Kordali (Kurdali), or Palai, is one of the Kurdish languages. It is often included in Southern Kurdish, but is quite distinct. It is spoken by the large Kordali tribe in the borderlands between Iraq and Iran. Geography It is principally spoken in parts of Ilam Province in Iran including in Abdanan, Dehloran, Meymeh and Pahleh. Kurdish (, ) is a language or a group of languages spoken by Kurds in the geo-cultural region of Kurdistan and the Kurdish diaspora. Wasit Governorate
Wasit Governorate ( ar, واسط, translit=Wāsit) is a governorate in eastern Iraq, south-east of Baghdad and bordering Iran. Prior to 1976 it was known as Kut Province. Major cities include the capital Al-Kut, Al-Hai and Al-Suwaira. The governorate contains the Mesopotamian Marshes of Shuwayja, Al-Attariyah, and Hor Aldelmj. Its name comes from the Arabic word meaning "middle," as the former city of Wasit lay along the Tigris about midway between Baghdad and Basra. Ali Al-Gharbi District
Ali Al-Gharbi ( ar, قضاء علي الغربي) is a district of the Maysan Governorate in Iraq. History John Gordon Lorimer wrote in 1908 that the main town of Ali Al-Gharbi was inhabited by 2,000 people of different origins, mostly Shia Muslims and was a market town of the Banu Lam Arab tribe. It was one of the principal towns for trade with Iraqi Kurdistan and many Kurds from Iran would visit the town to 'satisfy their wants'. Lorimer moreover wrote that many Kurds had settled in the town. Dehloran
Dehloran ( fa, دهلران; also Romanized as Dehlorān) is a city in and the capital of Dehloran County, Ilam Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 27,602, in 5,787 families. The city lies along Road 64, near the Iraqi border. A national natural monument lies in the north-eastern part of the city. Demographics The city is populated by Kurds and Lurs.
