Kuqishtë
Kuqishtë ( sr, Кућиште, Kućište) is a small village located in the municipality of Peja, Kosovo. Kuqishtë is located near the Montenegro border, at the edge of the Rugova Canyon in the Prokletije range. The Peja Bistrica flows past the village. The peak of Leqinat at 1,799 meters above sea level is situated to the west of the village. The village of Kuqishtë is categorized as being the last village in the Rugova Canyon and for the rough terrain it's on. Lake Leqinat or Lake Lićenat ( sq, Liqeni i Leqinatit or ''Leqinati'', or ''Liqeni i Kuqishtës''; sr, / ) is a mountain lake found on the Mount Leqinat in the Accursed Mountains in western Kosovo. Municipalities Of Kosovo
A municipality ( sq, komuna, sr, / ) is the basic administrative division in Kosovo and constitutes the only level of power in local governance. There are 38 municipalities in Kosovo; 27 of which have an Albanian ethnic majority, 10 Serb and 1 Turkish. After the 2013 Brussels Agreement, signed by the governments of Kosovo and Serbia, an agreement was made to create a Community of Serb Municipalities, which would operate within Kosovo's legal framework. Peja
Peja ( Indefinite Albanian form: ''Pejë'' ) or Peć ( sr-Cyrl, Пећ ) is the fourth largest city of Kosovo and seat of Peja Municipality and Peja District. It is situated in the region of Rugova on the eastern section of the Accursed Mountains along Peja's Lumbardh in the western part of Kosovo. Rugova Canyon
Rugova Canyon or Rugova Gorge ( sq, Gryka e Rugovës; sr, Руговска клисура, Rugovska klisura, italic=yes) is a river canyon near Peja in Western Kosovo, in the Accursed Mountains, close to the border with Montenegro. With a length of and a depth up to 1,000 meters, Rugova is considered to be one of Europe's longest and deepest canyons. It was created by water erosion and the retreat of the Peja glacier. The Peja Bistrica river cuts through the canyon. The Accursed Mountains ( sq, Bjeshkët e Nemuna; sh-Cyrl-Latn, Проклетије, Prokletije, ; both translated as "Cursed Mountains"), also known as the Albanian Alps ( sq, Alpet Shqiptare), are a mountain group in the western part of the Balkans. Villages In Peja
