Marco Kunz (born 14 August 1985 in Mauensee), better known as simply Kunz, is a Swiss singer from Lucerne. Biography Marco Kunz was born in Mauensee, Switzerland into a musical family. His father was a yodeller, and the family commonly sang together. He discovered his personal passion for music after secretly practicing on his sister's guitar. His first musical award was winning the junior yodel prize at 10 years old. He then became a member of the Surseer youth choir, and also performed in a rock band. In 2006, he became a member of the Swiss a cappella group ''a-live,'' who performed internationally. From 2007, he was the conductor of ''b-live'' choir in Küsnacht, then became the musical director of ''a-live.'' George Frederick Kunz
George Frederick Kunz (September 29, 1856 – June 29, 1932) was an American mineralogist and mineral collector. Biography Kunz was born in Manhattan, New York City, USA, and began an interest in minerals at a very young age. By his teens, he had amassed a collection of over four thousand items, which he sold for four hundred dollars to the University of Minnesota. Kunz attended Cooper Union but did not finish and did not attend college. Nonetheless, he taught himself mineralogy from books and field research. This expertise landed him a job with Tiffany & Co., and his knowledge and enthusiasm propelled him into a vice presidency by the time he was 23. He gained much notoriety for identifying a new gem variety of the mineral spodumene which was named "Kunzite" in his honor. Rudibert Kunz (born 1943) is a German investigator, journalist and television editor. Kunz is known for being the first journalist to write about the use Chemical weapons in the Rif War. Since 1979, he has been researching the history of weapons of mass destruction. He also wrote about the strategy of Saddam Hussein in the Gulf War 1991 and about the role of the ABC weapons of Adolf Hitler. He is a holder of a Master in literature and sociology. Richard Kunze (5 February 1872 in Żagań, Sagan – May 1945) was a German right-wing politics, right-wing politician known for his anti-Semitism. Early years Kunze's political career began around 1914 when he was employed by the German Conservative Party along with fellow rightist Wilhelm Kube. Serving the party as general secretary he earned 12,000 marks per month for a role that largely involved travelling Germany drumming up support. Reiner Kunze
Reiner Kunze (born 16 August 1933 in Oelsnitz, Erzgebirge, Saxony) is a German writer and GDR dissident. He studied media and journalism at the University of Leipzig. In 1968, he left the GDR state party SED following the communist Warsaw Pact countries invasion of Czechoslovakia in response to the Prague Spring. He had to publish his work under various pseudonyms. In 1976, his most famous book ''The Lovely Years'', which contained critical insights into the life, and the policies behind the Iron Curtain, was published in West Germany to great acclaim. In 1977, the GDR regime expatriated him, and he moved to West Germany (FRG). He now lives near Passau in Bavaria. His writings consists mostly of poetry, though he wrote prose as well, including essays. He is also a translator of Czech poetry and prose. John Christopher Kunze (August 4, 1744 – July 24, 1807) was an American Lutheran minister, educator, author and theologian. Life Kunze was born in Artern, a town in the Kyffhäuserkreis district of the Electorate of Saxony, to Jahn Godfried Kunze, a farmer and innkeeper. In 1758, when his parents died, Kunze began studying at the orphanage in Halle, Germany. He received his classical training in the gymnasia at Rossleben and Merseburg, and then attended the University of Leipzig where he studied history, philosophy and theology. He worked as a teacher and an orphanage inspector before becoming ordained as a Lutheran minister. In 1770, Kunze emigrated to Colonial America to serve as second pastor at St. Michael's and Zion Lutheran churches in Philadelphia. Helmut Kunz (26 September 1910 – 23 September 1976) was an SS dentist who, after the suicide of Adolf Hitler, was ordered to administer anesthetic to the six children of Joseph Goebbels before they were killed. Early years Kunz was born in Ettlingen, Germany. He first studied law, then dentistry.
