Seiichi Kuno
was a lieutenant general in the Imperial Japanese Army in the Second Sino-Japanese War. Biography Kuno was a native of Tokyo. He graduated from the 18th class of the Imperial Japanese Army Academy in 1905, and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the cavalry. He graduated with honors from the 26th class of the Army Staff College in 1914. After serving briefly on the Imperial Japanese Army General Staff, Kuno was assigned as aide-de-camp to Prince Fushimi Sadanaru from 1915-1917. From 1917-1919, he was sent as a military observer to France and with the French Army in Romania during World War I. After his return to Japan, Kuno served in a number of administrative and staff positions, including that of Secretary to Yamanashi Hanzō, the Governor-General of Korea in 1927. From 1927-1929, Kuno commanded the IJA 28th Cavalry Regiment. He was instructor at the Army War College from 1929–1932, and at the Cavalry School from 1932-1933. Kodachi are from the early Kamakura period (1185–1333) and are in the shape of a tachi. Susumu Kuno
is a Japanese linguist and author. He is Professor Emeritus of Linguistics at Harvard University, where he received his Ph.D. degree in 1964 and spent his entire career. He received his A.B. and A.M. from Tokyo University where he received a thorough grounding in linguistics under the guidance of Shirō Hattori. His postgraduate research focused on the Dravidian languages. It was through S.-Y. Kuroda, an early advocate of Chomskyan approaches to language, that Kuno undertook his first studies in transformational grammar. In 1960 he went to Harvard to work on a machine translation project. KQSL
KQSL (channel 8) is a religious television station in Cloverdale, California, United States, which is a broadcast partner of the Total Living Network. The station is owned by One Ministries, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Santa Rosa, California. KQSL's transmitter is located west of Laytonville, California. History KQSL debuted in 1990 as KFWU, originally licensed to Fort Bragg, California and owned by California Oregon Broadcasting. As a satellite of ABC affiliate KAEF-TV in Eureka, the station was sold to Lamco Communications (along with KAEF) in 1995. It was then sold to Sainte Limited in 1996, and to Pappas Telecasting Companies in 1997, at which point KFWU became a satellite of KTNC-TV in Concord (however, at first, KFWU was considered the main station and KTNC the satellite).
