Tibetan Name
Tibetan names typically consist of two juxtaposed elements. Family names are rare except among those of aristocratic ancestry and then come before the personal name (but diaspora Tibetans living in societies that expect a surname may adopt one). For example, in Ngapoi Ngawang Jigme, ''Ngapoi'' was his family name and ''Nga-Wang Jigmê'' his personal name. Tibetan nomads (''drokpa'') also use clan names; in farming communities, they are now rare and may be replaced by household name. Tibetan culture is patrilineal; descent is claimed from the four ancient clans that are said to have originally inhabited Ancient Tibet: Se, Rmu, Stong and Ldong. The ancient clan system of Tibet is called rus-ba (རུས་པ), meaning bone or bone lineage. The four clans were further divided into branches which are Dbra, Vgru, Ldong, Lga, Dbas and Brdav. Kunga (equid)
The kunga was a Hybrid (biology), hybrid equid that was used as a draft animal in ancient Syria and Mesopotamia, where it also served as an economic and political status symbol. Cuneiform writings from as early as the mid-third millennium BCE describe the animal as a hybrid but do not provide the precise taxonomical nature of the breeding that produced it. Modern paleogenomics has revealed it to have been the offspring of a female domesticated donkey and a wild male Syrian wild ass. They fell out of favor after the introduction of domesticated horses into the region at the end of the 3rd millennium BCE. Kunga Cake
Kunga cake or kungu is a type of dish found in the African Great Lakes region, specifically countries surrounding Lake Malawi (Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique), made of millions of densely compressed midges or flies. American entomologist May Berenbaum discusses the situation where large swarms of midges can cause significant problems for local populations. She cites an example of how '' Chaoborus edulis'' swarms form near Lake Malawi and how the local people turn them into kunga cakes as a "rich source of protein" which is eaten "with great enthusiasm". In his book on edible insects and human entomophagy, ''Insects: An Edible Field Guide'', Stefan Gates suggest that people can ”make burgers with it, or dry it out and grate parts of it off into stews" for "umami richness". Bear Grylls calls it "a great survival food" and describes how vast quantities are caught and turned into ''kunga cake''. Lagos Kunga (born October 20, 1998) is an American soccer player who currently plays for Des Moines Menace in USL League Two. Early life Kunga was born in Angola before his family moved to Russia, where they lived until he was seven years old. They later moved to Clarkston, Georgia in the United States. Professional career At the youth level, Kunga developed at DDYSC in Atlanta and played varsity soccer at The Paideia School. Kunga had initially stated a commitment to play college soccer at Furman University.
