Kundl
Kundl is a market town in the Kufstein district in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Geography Kundl is situated 7.70 km west of Wörgl as well as 18.30 km southwest of Kufstein at the southern side of the Inn River and is made up of 4 parts, namely Kundl, Liesfeld (in the north), Saulueg (in the south) and St. Leonhard (in the west). Neighbouring municipalities Breitenbach am Inn, Radfeld, Wörgl, Wildschönau History Eastward of Kundl some cremation graves with other remains were found which dated from the La Tène Culture and are now publicly exhibited in the Landesmuseum Ferdinandeum in Innsbruck. Kundl was first mentioned in a directory by bishop Arno of Salzburg in 788 under the name ''ad Quantalas'', which means ''at the white river''. Lindner (agricultural Machinery Manufacturer)
Lindner Traktorenwerk GmbH is an Austrian agricultural machinery manufacturer. Lindner is a family company based in Kundl, Austria that has produced tractors and transporters for mountain and grassland management and for forestry and municipal applications since 1948. The company was the first manufacturer of a four-wheel-drive tractor in Austria. History Hermann Lindner was born on 5 November 1905 in Neustift im Stubaital. He founded the company in 1946 initially to produce head_saw, gang saws, but in 1948 exhibited his first tractor, the S 14, at the Vienna Autumn Fair. Lindner constructed more tractor models with different engines and special equipment and in 1953, the company introduced the first Austrian tractor with four-wheel drive. In 1956 a new production hall was built, employing over 150 people. Wildschönau
Wildschönau is a municipality within the district of Kufstein in the state of Tyrol 6 km south of Wörgl. The 24 km long high valley near Wörgl is one of the district's tourist centers. Besides a few hamlets, the municipality consists of the four church villages ''Niederau, Oberau, Auffach and Thierbach'' and is situated in the Kitzbühel Alps. The municipal office is located in Oberau. Besides two tourist seasons, the intense highland agriculture plays an economic role. A lot of inhabitants commute to their place of work in other municipalities. The municipality Wildschönau is based on "gentle" tourism and emphasizes not being a ski circuit like the nearby Kitzbühel. Several older T-bar lifts in the skiing region of Schatzberg (Auffach) were replaced with two chair lifts. A lift connection with the Alpbach valley was built in Summer 2012. Penicillin V
Phenoxymethylpenicillin, also known as penicillin V (PcV) and penicillin VK, is an antibiotic useful for the treatment of a number of bacterial infections. Hofkirche, Innsbruck
The Hofkirche (Court Church) is a Gothic church located in the Altstadt (Old Town) section of Innsbruck, Austria. The church was built in 1553 by Emperor Ferdinand I (1503–1564) as a memorial to his grandfather Emperor Maximilian I (1459–1519), whose cenotaph within boasts a remarkable collection of German Renaissance sculpture. The church also contains the tomb of Andreas Hofer, Tyrol's national hero. Although Maximilian's will had directed that he be buried in the castle chapel in Wiener Neustadt, it proved impractical to construct there the large memorial whose plans he had supervised in detail, and Ferdinand I as executor planned construction of a new church and monastery in Innsbruck for a suitable memorial. In the end, however, Maximilian's simple tomb remained in Wiener Neustadt and the Hofkirche serves as a cenotaph. Maximilian I, Holy Roman Emperor
Maximilian I (22 March 1459 – 12 January 1519) was King of the Romans from 1486 and Holy Roman Emperor from 1508 until his death. He was never crowned by the pope, as the journey to Rome was blocked by the Venetians. He proclaimed himself Elected Emperor in 1508 (Pope Julius II later recognized this) at Trent, thus breaking the long tradition of requiring a Papal coronation for the adoption of the Imperial title.
