Kunda, Estonia
Kunda is a town in the Viru-Nigula Parish of Estonia, located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland. Kunda is most famous for its cement factory, port and archaeological heritage. History Evidence of some of the oldest prehistoric communities in Estonia, hunting and fishing communities that existed around 7th millennium BC, 6500 BC, were found near Kunda. Temple tanks are wells or reservoirs built as part of the temple complex near Indian temples. Kunda Culture
The Kunda culture, originating from the Swiderian culture, comprised mesolithic hunter-gatherer communities of the Baltic forest zone extending eastwards through Latvia into northern Russia, dating to the period 8500–5000 BC according to calibrated radiocarbon dating. It is named after the Estonian town of Kunda, about east of Tallinn along the Gulf of Finland, near where the first extensively studied settlement was discovered on Lammasmäe Hill and in the surrounding peat bog. The oldest known settlement of the Kunda culture in Estonia is Pulli. The Kunda culture was succeeded by the Narva culture, who used pottery and showed some traces of food production. Location The Kunda or Akunda people are an ethnic group of Mambwe District of Eastern Province of Zambia. They number approximately at 250,000 people. Ziva Kunda (June 13, 1955 – February 24, 2004) was an Israeli social psychologist and professor at the University of Waterloo known for her work in social cognition and motivated reasoning. Her seminal paper "The Case for Motivated Reasoning", published in ''Psychological Bulletin'' in 1990, posthumously received thScientific Impact Awardfrom the Society of Experimental Social Psychology. Kunda authored the book Social Cognition: Making Sense of People'' Biography Ziva Kunda was born in Tel Aviv. Her parents were from Oudtshoorn, a small South African town. Stephen Kunda (born August 17, 1984) is a Zambian football central defender who is currently a free agent. He played for Power Dynamos F.C. in his home country before moving to Finland. George Kunda
George Kunda (26 February 1956 – 16 April 2012) was a Zambian lawyer and politician who was the 11th vice-president of Zambia from 2008 to 2011. He served under President Rupiah Banda until their party's loss to Michael Sata's party. Early life and career The son of a miner, Kunda studied at Serenje Boys Technical School and obtained a law degree from the University of Zambia and began practicing on April 28, 1982. He started his career at the Luanshya Municipal Council as a solicitor before creating his own law firm in 1990.
